Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Learning Advantage Inc ("Learning Advantage", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with our website and our business operations as an Amazon Vendor.

1. Who We Are

Learning Advantage Inc is an educational products company headquartered in the United States. We design and distribute educational and children's products sold through retail channels, including Amazon. Our informational website is located at www.learningadvantage.com.

2. Our Website

Our website at www.learningadvantage.com is an informational site. We do not:

  • Sell products directly through the website

  • Collect any personal information from visitors

  • Use tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or retargeting tools

  • Use email marketing or newsletter sign-up forms

  • Operate live chat or customer service tools that collect personal data

  • Integrate third-party analytics platforms

Visitors to our website can browse its content without providing any personal information. We do not store, process, or share any visitor data.

Our website is hosted on Squarespace. Squarespace may collect limited technical data such as IP addresses and browser types as part of standard web hosting operations. Please refer to Squarespace's Privacy Policy for details on their data practices.

3. Amazon Vendor Operations and SP-API Integration

Learning Advantage operates as a first-party vendor on Amazon, selling products through Amazon Vendor Central. As part of this relationship, we use the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) to automate operational processes.

Our SP-API integration handles the following operational data:

  • Inventory data: Product identifiers (ASINs, SKUs) and available stock quantities, submitted to Amazon every six hours

  • Order data: Amazon purchase order numbers, product identifiers, and quantities, received from Amazon and recorded in our internal ERP system (NetSuite)

  • Invoice data: Invoice numbers, dates, line item quantities and prices, submitted to Amazon following order fulfilment

Customer PII: Our SP-API integration is specifically designed to operate without accessing, processing, or storing customer Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as names, shipping addresses, email addresses, or phone numbers. Shipping labels for Direct Fulfillment orders are generated and printed manually through Amazon Vendor Central and are not processed by our automated systems.

All operational data processed through our SP-API integration is used exclusively to fulfil our obligations as an Amazon Vendor and to maintain accurate inventory, order, and financial records within our NetSuite ERP system.

4. Data We Do Not Collect or Process

To be clear about the scope of our data practices, Learning Advantage does not:

  • Collect, store, or process end-customer personal information from Amazon orders

  • Operate any consumer-facing data collection systems

  • Use customer data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond order fulfilment

  • Share any Amazon customer data with third parties

  • Sell or rent data of any kind

5. Business Contact Information

In the normal course of our business relationships — with retailers, distributors, and suppliers — we may hold standard business contact information such as names, email addresses, and phone numbers of contacts at partner organisations. This information is used solely for business communications and is not shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to conduct our business.

6. Data Security

We take appropriate measures to protect all data processed through our systems:

  • All API communications use HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit

  • API credentials and access tokens are stored as encrypted environment variables in secure cloud infrastructure

  • Access to systems handling Amazon operational data is restricted to authorised personnel only

  • Multi-factor authentication is enforced on all development and infrastructure accounts

  • All code repositories are private and access-controlled

  • AWS IAM role-based access controls limit permissions to the minimum required

  • All system activity is logged for audit purposes

7. Data Retention

Operational data (order numbers, invoice references, inventory quantities) is retained within our NetSuite ERP system as part of standard business and accounting record-keeping, in accordance with applicable US tax and business record retention requirements.

We do not retain Amazon customer PII. Any incidental contact with customer data during the fulfilment process is transient and not recorded in our systems.

8. Incident Response

In the event of a security incident involving Amazon data, Learning Advantage will:

  • Immediately revoke and rotate any compromised credentials

  • Notify Amazon at security@amazon.com within 24 hours of detection

  • Conduct a review of system logs to determine the scope of the incident

  • Implement corrective controls before resuming operations

9. Third-Party Services

Our business operations interact with the following third-party platforms. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

10. Children's Privacy

Although Learning Advantage produces educational products designed for children, our website and business systems are not directed at children and do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our operations or legal requirements. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
